We collect your email address for authentication and perform a one-time pull of your transaction data via Plaid for reward calculations. We automatically disconnect from your bank once the analysis is complete. We do not maintain ongoing access to your accounts.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Plaid: We use Plaid Inc. to perform a one-time pull of your transaction history. You authenticate through Plaid's secure widget or your bank's own login page. We never see or store your bank credentials. Once we've analyzed your spending, we automatically disconnect from your bank. Plaid's use of your data is governed by their End User Privacy Policy.
Affiliate partners: When you click an "Apply" link, you leave our site and visit the card issuer. We send no personal data to them.
For California residents (CCPA): we do not sell personal information.
We use a session cookie for authentication. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics scripts, or third-party advertising pixels beyond Vercel Analytics and the Reddit Pixel.

CreditCardPoints.app ("we", "us", "our") is a free tool that analyzes your spending transactions to estimate rewards you could earn from various credit cards. We provide personalized estimates, not financial advice.
To use our analysis features, you need to create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorized access, let us know immediately.
We use Plaid to securely connect to your bank. We receive read-only access to your transaction history. We cannot move money, make purchases, or modify your accounts in any way. You can disconnect at any time.
Our card results include affiliate links. When you click "Apply" and are approved for a card through our link, we may earn a commission from the card issuer. This is how we keep the service free.
Our reward calculations are estimates based on your historical spending and publicly available card terms. Actual rewards may vary due to changes to card programs, spending pattern changes, category classification differences, and promotional variations.
You agree not to use the service for any unlawful purpose, attempt to access other users' data, reverse-engineer our systems, or create multiple accounts to abuse rate limits.
CreditCardPoints.app is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for any financial decisions you make based on our estimates.
You can delete your account at any time. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.

CreditCardPoints.app is a free service. We earn money through affiliate commissions when you click an "Apply" link on our site and are approved for a credit card. The card issuer pays us a referral fee at no extra cost to you.
Our card recommendations are based entirely on your spending data and the publicly available reward structures of each card. Affiliate relationships do not influence how we rank cards. Every card is scored using the same algorithm, whether or not we have an affiliate relationship with the issuer.
In some cases, we may not have an affiliate relationship with every card issuer featured on the site. We include those cards anyway because our goal is to show you the most accurate results possible.
We may participate in affiliate programs offered through networks including, but not limited to, CJ Affiliate, Impact, Rakuten Advertising, and FlexOffers, as well as direct partnerships with card issuers.
