How it works

Stop guessing.
Start knowing.

The best card depends entirely on how you spend, and you already have that data. No one in a blazer required.

The problem with "best card" advice

Every credit card ranking you have ever seen is built on averages. Average spending, average categories, average person. You are not average.

Maybe you spend $400 a month on groceries and $12 on travel. That changes everything. A card earning 5x on flights is worthless if you fly twice a year, but every listicle will still call it the best travel card. Best for whom?

The old way
  • Watch a 22-minute video
  • Trust an influencer's top pick
  • Rebuild the math in a spreadsheet
  • Give up and pick the coolest metal card
With CreditCardPoints
  • Share your spending, about 30 seconds
  • We read 12 months of real transactions
  • Run the math on 45+ cards
  • See the exact dollars you would earn

How it actually works

01
Connect
A one-time read through Plaid. We analyze your transactions and disconnect immediately. We never see your password.
02
Analyze
Your transactions are sorted into 14 spending categories across 12 months.
03
Compare
Every card is scored against your spending and ranked by what you keep.

The math is simple. There is just a lot of it.

For each card we multiply your spending in every category by that card's reward rate, then factor in annual fees, point valuations, and sign-up bonuses you actually qualify for. The result is estimated net value per year, in real dollars.

No vibes, no editorial picks, and no mysterious ranking where the card with the biggest affiliate payout lands at number one. Just math applied to your actual life.

About affiliate links: yes, we include them, and yes, we may earn a commission when you apply. They do not affect rankings. Cards are sorted by estimated value to you. Some cards in our list have no affiliate partnership at all and we include them anyway, because the goal is accuracy rather than revenue.

What we do not do

We do not give financial advice and we do not tell you to get a card. We show you the numbers and let you decide. We also cannot move your money, see your account numbers, or reach anything beyond transaction history. One read, then we disconnect. No ongoing access, no background syncing. By design, the least powerful financial app you will ever use.

Why is it free?

Affiliate commissions cover our costs when someone applies through our links. If you find a card, love it, and apply through us, everyone wins. If you do not, that is fine too. We are not going to send you 47 emails about it.
